Speaker Series – Influenza and cardiovascular disease

We’re delighted to add a summary of a recent speaker event titled: Influenza and cardiovascular disease – the latest evidence. The publication is a summary of a CSANZ symposium on emerging data on the link between influenza and cardiovascular complications.

The presentation was given by Professor Garry Jennings, Chief Medical Advisor of the National Heart Foundation and Adjunct Professor of Medicine at The University of Sydney and Monash University and Professor Timothy Tan, a consultant cardiologist at Westmead and Blacktown hospitals in Sydney.
