Professor Rupert Leong MBBS, FRACP, MD, AGAF is a Senior Staff Specialist gastroenterologist, Director of Endoscopy and leads the Inflammatory Bowel Disease Services at Concord Hospital, Sydney. He has made a substantial contribution to research with over 170 publications. He holds executive positions on the Research Committee of GESA, is section editor of the Journal of Gastroenterology and Hepatology, and international editorial board member of the American Journal of Gastroenterology, Gastrointestinal Endoscopy and Intestinal Research.
