Dr Nigel Crawford is a consultant general paediatrician at the Royal Children’s Hospital (RCH), Parkville, Melbourne. Professor Nick Freezer

Professor Nick Freezer

Professor Nick Freezer is a Paediatric Respiratory Physician and the Medical Director of the Monash Children’s Hospital, Melbourne at Monash Health. He is also a Professor of Paediatrics at Monash University, and until recently the Leader of the Children’s Health research theme of Monash Partners Academic Health Science Centre and Monash Health Translation Precinct. A practicing respiratory and sleep physician for over 20 years and with over 100 papers and abstracts published in peer review journals, Prof Freezer was among the first researchers to alert the world to the dangers of overdosing asthmatic children with inhaled corticosteroids and the benefits of using steroids to treat croup. Previous roles include the Director of Respiratory Medicine at Royal Children’s Hospital, Melbourne (2000-2005) and Monash Medical Centre (1995-2006). .. read more »
