Associate Professor John Frew

Associate Professor John Frew is a fellow of the Australasian College of Dermatologists and researcher in the field of inflammatory skin diseases with a focus on hidradenitis suppurativa. He holds a staff specialist position at Liverpool Hospital, and is a conjoint lecturer at the University of New South Wales supervising dermatology trainees and postgraduate research students. He completed his post-doctoral fellowship at the Rockefeller University in New York City identifying immunological pathways and novel therapies for the treatment of hidradenitis suppurativa. Clinical Professor Saxon D Smith is a consultant dermatologist in private practice in Gosford and St Leonards, Australia, and Clinical Associate Professor Sydney Adventist Hospital Clinical School, University of Sydney, Sydney. He has a special interest in biologics for the treatment of complex dermatologic conditions.
