Dr Agnieszka Malczewski

Dr Agnieszka Malczewski is a medical oncologist based at Icon Cancer Centre Brisbane. Dr Malczewski graduated from James Cook University, Townsville in 2005 with a Bachelor of Medicine, Bachelor of Surgery
(Hons 1) and the University Medal. She completed her oncology training in Brisbane in 2012. Between 2012-2013, she undertook a research fellowship in early phase clinical trials and melanoma at the University of Oxford, the United Kingdom, where she was involved in clinical and laboratory-based research. Dr Malczewski became a fellow of the Royal Australian College of Physicians in 2013. In 2019, Dr Malczewski was
awarded a Master of Science with Distinction, through the University of Oxford. Her thesis focused on the clinical presentation of melanoma in Queensland. She presently works as clinician at Icon Cancer Centre
and continues to complete her PhD focusing on ‘the microbiomederived metabolome in cancer immunotherapy’. Her oncology interests include melanoma, cancer immunotherapy and upper gastro-intestinal tract malignancies.
