This is a review of an educational meeting on PNH management in the context of bone
marrow failure, held in Sydney on Sept 12, 2014. The meeting’s objectives were to explore
the complex inter-relationships between aplastic anaemia and PNH, including their
pathophysiologies and clinical management. The role of eculizumab in PNH patients with
haemolytic anaemia was also discussed.
