This review is a summary of a recent speaker event featuring a talk by Professor Manuel Praga and Associate Professor David Mudge in Brisbane in June.
Professor Praga discussed diagnosis and management of thrombotic microangiopathy, and Associate Professor Mudge presented on creation of an Australasian TMA consensus document, duration of therapy and Australasian aHUS treatment recommendations.
Professor Manuel Praga is the Head of the Nephrology Department at Hospital 12 de Octubre, Madrid, Spain; Associate Professor David Mudge is a Consultant Nephrologist at Princess Alexandra Hospital, Queensland and Associate Professor at The University of Queensland.
