This review is a summary of a recent event in Melbourne at the MOGA annual scientific meeting. Professor Fatima Cardoso presented on the role of oral chemotherapy in advanced breast cancer and the ESO-ESMO ABC guidelines.
Professor Cardoso is Director of the Breast Unit of the Champalimaud Clinical Center in Lisbon, Portugal. She is actively involved in numerous professional organizations such as ESMO, ECCO, EORTC, ASCO, and AACR, and co-chair of the Advanced Breast Cancer International Consensus Guidelines Conference (ABC).
