As part of our ongoing series focussing on new registrations in Australia, we have added a product review of the use of Lifitegrast for dry eye disease.
This review discusses its pharmacological properties, prescribing considerations, efficacy and tolerability, and evidence in support of the use of Lifitegrast as demonstrated in pivotal clinical trials.
It also provides commentary and recommendations from Dr Kenneth Ooi, an ophthalmologist and Clinical Senior Lecturer at Save Sight Institute, University of Sydney.
