Educational Series -Colloidal Oatmeal: Skin Moisturisation

This review provides an overview of colloidal oatmeal used as a skin moisturiser. Topics covered include
skin barrier function and the skin microbiome, the importance of moisturisation in maintaining skin barrier
function, colloidal oatmeal and its mechanism of action, and the role of colloidal oatmeal in the management
of several conditions including dry skin, atopic dermatitis, and cancer therapy-induced skin toxicity. The
