This review will provide an overview of chronic hand eczema, focusing in particular on its epidemiology, disease burden, classification, aetiology, pathogenesis, diagnosis, and management. It also includes guiding commentary from Dr Monisha Gupta who is the Head of the Department at Liverpool Hospital and is the Head of Phototherapy at The Skin Hospital.
