Dr Rebecca Nguyen is a consultant dermatologist in private practice and holds appointments at Monash Health, Eastern Health and the Skin Health Institute. Dr Nguyen graduated from Monash University in 2008 before undertaking her dermatology training in Melbourne and was awarded the President’s Medal for Pharmacology 2013, the Australasian College of Dermatologists travelling scholarship to Oxford, United Kingdom in 2014 and the Founder’s Medal for Procedural Dermatology in 2016. Associate Professor John Frew is a fellow of the Australasian College of Dermatologists and researcher in the field of inflammatory skin diseases with a focus on hidradenitis suppurativa. He holds a staff specialist position at Liverpool Hospital, and is a conjoint lecturer at the University of New South Wales supervising dermatology trainees and postgraduate research students. He completed his post-doctoral fellowship at the Rockefeller University in New York City identifying immunological pathways and novel therapies for the treatment of hidradenitis suppurativa.
