Dr Allan Zimet

Dr Allan Zimet completed his oncology training in Melbourne at the Peter MacCallum Cancer institute. Subsequently Allan spent 2 years doing a postgraduate fellowship in oncology at the Mount Sinai Hospital in New York. He has his major interests in the treatment of gastrointestinal (colon, stomach, oesophageal and pancreatic) cancers as well as lung cancer. Research activity is mainly in pancreatic cancer. Dr Zimet is involved in medical oncology both in the Private and Public hospital spheres. He currently practices at a number of Private Hospitals including Epworth and John Fawkner as Well as the VCCC and Austin Hospital. Dr Agnieszka Malczewski

Dr Agnieszka Malczewski

Dr Agnieszka Malczewski is a medical oncologist based at Icon Cancer Centre Brisbane. Dr Malczewski graduated from James Cook University, Townsville in 2005 with a Bachelor of Medicine, Bachelor of Surgery (Hons 1) and the University Medal. She completed her oncology training in Brisbane in 2012. Between 2012-2013, she undertook a research fellowship in early phase clinical trials and melanoma at the University of Oxford, the United Kingdom, where she was involved in clinical and laboratory-based research. Dr Malczewski became a fellow of the Royal Australian College of Physicians in 2013. In 2019, Dr Malczewski was awarded a Master of Science with Distinction, through the University of Oxford. Her thesis focused on the clinical presentation of melanoma in Queensland. She presently works as clinician at Icon Cancer Centre and continues to complete her PhD focusing on ‘the microbiomederived metabolome in cancer immunotherapy’. .. read more »
