George is co-Director of Emergency Medicine Training at Royal Melbourne Hospital – a busy quaternary trauma centre in the Parkville precinct encompassing RMH, RWH and the VCCC. After completing initial studies in Brisbane, George made the move to Melbourne where he lives with his wife and two children. After obtaining specialist qualifications in Emergency Medicine, he has established interests in education, trauma, and cardiology. George has conducted research on the management of atrial fibrillation, lectured for the University of Melbourne on the topics of acute cardiology and trauma, and has delivered presentations to international and local meetings on the subjects of trauma, vehicular ramming attacks, acute cardiology and clinical change implementation.
