Professor Connie Katelaris

Professor Connie Katelaris

Dr Katelaris is a Senior Staff Specialist in Immunology/Allergy at Campbelltown Hospital and Professor of Immunology/Allergy at Western Sydney University. She has over 35 years of experience in clinical practice and research. Dr Katelaris is a past president of the Australasian Society of Clinical Immunology and Allergy (ASCIA) and the Asian Pacific Association of Allergology, Asthma and Clinical Immunology. She has also held executive positions on the World Allergy Organisation Board. Connie has a special clinical interest in all aspects of allergic diseases in children and adults, and her research interests include aerobiological surveys, latex allergy, drug allergy, food allergy, and clinical trials in ocular disorders, allergic rhinoconjunctivitis, asthma, chronic urticaria, and hereditary angioedema.
